I understand that if you have never been for a treatment you may have several questions, about what to wear, how long a treatment lasts and what to expect. Don’t panic, I am here to help! This page lists the most frequently asked questions I receive.
If you have a question not covered here, head on over to my contact page and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.
WHAT CAN MASsAGE HELP WITH?
People come for massage for many reasons. Here are a few examples:
- Muscular pain
- Recovery from injuries
- Sinus pain
- Lower back pain
- Neck or shoulder pain
If you aren’t sure if massage could help with your health concerns please contact me for advice.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes with a loose waistband. Shorts are good to wear if you are having a leg massage. For reflexology wear a skirt, shorts or pants which can easily be rolled up to the knee. You will always be covered with a towel during massage – don’t worry you will not be exposed!
I’m pregnant, is it safe to have a treatment?
As long as you are passed the first trimester and your pregnancy is progressing normally then yes you can have treatment. Ladies tend to enjoy reflexology in particular towards the end of their pregnancy because a large bump can make it uncomfortable to position you for other treatments. If you are having an aromatherapy treatment, not all essential oils are safe. Please let me know before treatment if there’s a chance you may be pregnant.
What are your payment methods?
I accept payment by cash, Pay Pal, Bank Transfer or card.
Do I have to remove clothing?
For a full body aromatherapy you would need to undress to your underwear. You will be covered with towels at all times with only areas being worked on exposed. For back massage you would need to undress from the waist up, however again you will be covered at all times.
Are products used tested on animals?
None of my suppliers test on animals.
